V-me First TV Network to Announce Live Spanish Simulcast of 9/26 Presidential Debate

V-me, America’s fastest-growing Hispanic TV network, breaks new ground in its political coverage with the announcement of a 3-hour live broadcast of PARTICIPA 2008 (www.vmetv.com/participa2008): Presidential Debate and Interactive Forum, airing Friday September 26 at 9pm (ET), 8pm (CT), 6pm (PT)

This special TV event kicks-off with V-me’s live Spanish simulcast of the first 2008 Presidential Debate between Sen. Barak Obama and Sen. John McCain from the University of Mississippi in Oxford MS, moderated by Jim Lehrer of PBS.

Immediately after the debate, V-me stays live with an exclusive interactive forum telecast from studios in NY. V-me’s award-winning anchor Jorge Gestoso, top Republican and Democratic spokespersons, and analysts from across the political spectrum, will dissect and discuss the issues raised in the debate — with live involvement from the studio audience, TV viewers via emails and SMS voting, and the online community.
