Secretary of the Commonwealth Pedro A. Cortes will step up to the plate Friday, as the commonwealth’s chief election official, to raise voter education awareness during the third inning of the Philadelphia Phillies vs. Milwaukee Brewers baseball game. The event is part of Latino Family Day, sponsored by Goya Foods and the Phillies.
Game attendees can receive a voting machine demonstration at the first base entrance of Citizens Bank Park.
Cortes will also be a guest on the Spanish Beisbol Network to discuss the importance of voter education for Pennsylvania’s Latino citizens. The live interview can be heard on WDAS-AM 1480, WRAW-AM 1340, and WNJC-AM 1360.
Additional interviews with credentialed press would be by appointment.
