Yahoo! Telemundo today announced the official launch of a site dedicated exclusively to coverage of this summer’s Olympic Games. Available by logging on to espanol.sports.yahoo.com/china2008/ , the Spanish-language “China 2008″ features all that an Olympics lover is in search of, including historical and background information, the latest news and results, events schedules, videos and photo galleries.
Additionally, fans of the Summer Games will have access to a number of interactive tools and features on “China 2008,” among them the ability to share and comment on news articles, photos and videos, pose questions on Yahoo! Respuestas, upload pictures on Flickr, express views on message boards and participate in daily polls. By incorporating these social products and services, Yahoo! is delivering on its commitment to providing a better internet through people.
“With a breadth of information delivered round-the-clock and a host of interactive features, ‘China 2008′ is just the vehicle to place our users at the front and center of this summer’s Olympic Games,” said Jose Rivera Font, vice president and general manager, Yahoo! Hispanic Americas.
