For one, it has kept pace with technological change in rewarding ways, especially in the psychedelic sonics of Argentina’s Juana Molina. The one-time actress turned away from television in 1996 and has been blessing music fans ever since. Her last effort Son was an astounding mixture of Molina’s ethereal whispers, measured arpeggios and more loop pedals than you can count. And although it was hushed and strange, it nevertheless garnered the attention of the overground and underground, including the admiration of David Byrne.”*
