Knowledge is Power!

“Bertrum, Raimundo and the rest of the Wumblers will be joining our nation’s kids in their classrooms this year as The Giddy Gander Company signs a partnership agreement with the National Center for Youth Issues. A highly respected organization, the National Center for Youth Issues (NCYI) has spent the last 26 years empowering educators by providing resources that positively impact the social and emotional well-being of children. THE WUMBLERS is their next step in continuing this tradition in a fun and exciting way.

With a distribution base of 32,000 elementary schools in 50 states, kids everywhere will engage in the many positive lessons that THE WUMBLERS share while making the world a better place for ALL children to live. As bilingual fluency (English-Spanish) is also a key initiative in THE WUMBLERS series, the National Center for Youth Issues is thrilled to become part of a television series and brand that has been so strongly embraced by the U.S. Hispanic-Latino population. Teaching aids, including workbooks and activity sheets, will coincide with THE WUMBLERS videos, which will be made available in both English and Spanish.

In response to this announcement, NCYI President Robert Rabon said, “The Wumblers are a perfect fit with NCYI — helping children make positive, edifying life choices and avoid unhealthy behaviors. These videos present character traits and values in a way that is both entertaining and easily understood. We’re looking forward to a long relationship with Giddy Gander and to expanding the impact this endearing series is having in the lives of our nation’s children.”

“We are both proud to aid the NCYI in their educational efforts as well as contribute to the bridging of the multi-cultural gaps that continue to plague our society as a result of the many unnecessary language barriers that currently exist today,” says Laura Wellington, CEO of The Giddy Gander Company.

This newly formed partnership between the NCYI and The Giddy Gander Company will also be another portal for the National Watermelon Association’s partnership with The Wumblers to reach children and teach them about the benefits of watermelon for their health and nutritional well-being.

As kids return back to school this fall, don’t be surprised if the newest phrase they begin saying is…”Come On Everybody, Let’s Wumble!
