Puerto Rican pride was on full display yesterday as a few thousand people ignored the threat of rain to enjoy the 29th annual Yonkers Puerto Rican/Hispanic Day Parade and Festival.
Although Puerto Rican pride was a major theme of yesterday’s parade up South Broadway, it was a celebration of many Hispanic cultures from Central and South America as well as the Caribbean.”*
