Until a few months ago, the white building with blue arches on West Camelback Road was a Mexican seafood restaurant, which fit right in with the Mexican consulate a short block away and other nearby Mexican establishments.
But the new sign out front boldly declares, “Buffet Sabor Cubano.” And the new owner, Nancy Socarras, is a Cuban immigrant who dishes out pollo frito, congris and other Cuban specialties.”*
