After 20 weeks of knocking out hundreds of pushups, and hours studying what state laws to apply for routine traffic stops, newly minted police officers Abraham Nazario and George Lozado are ready to hit the streets.
“We’re looking forward to getting out and making a difference,” said Officer Nazario, 32, an eight-year veteran of the Marine Corps who worked as a computer systems engineer before he entered the academy six months ago.”*
