Carol Rodriguez’s forte is the 100 and 200 meters but the USC senior isn’t too bad in the 400, either.
The Wilson High graduate placed third in a 400 semifinal in 52.32 in the NCAA Track and Field Championships at Drake Stadium to advance to today’s finals.
Rodriguez, the 2006 and 2007 Pacific-10 Conference 100 and 200 champion, was forced to switch from the sprints to the quarter mile this season because of a left hamstring strain.”*
