Chicago advertising veteran Gladys M. Arroyo has been hired as advertising director for The Doings and Sun-Times News Group Development, effective June 16.
Arroyo, 42, will be in charge of the outside advertising sales staff of The Doings. Her STNG development duties will be directed by Barbara Swanson, group vice president of advertising and marketing for the Sun-Times News Group. She will also report to Peggy Cunniff, vice president, advertising and north region director for the Sun-Times News Group and Pioneer Press.”*
