CREATIVE CIVILIZATION WELCOMES MARKETING INDUSTRY LEADER TO JOIN AGENCY TEAM – Sergio H. Salinas Joins Agency as Executive Vice President

Creative Civilization today announced the appointment of marketing industry leader, Sergio H. Salinas as Executive Vice President of the agency.

His appointment coincides with the agency’s expanding role as a premier national marketing agency having recently acquired global client ING Financial Services, one of the world’s leading financial service providers.  In his new capacity, Salinas will provide strategic leadership for all agency disciplines provided to existing and new clients.

“I’m delighted to join agency principals Al Aguilar and Gisela Girard as we embark on our second decade of providing innovative solutions to our diverse client partners,” says Salinas.  “I am proud of the agency’s high profile work in the General Market, Hispanic Market and the Business-to-Business market,” continues Salinas.

Most recently, Salinas served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Hearst Corporation’s, San Antonio Express-News where he lead the creation of numerous niche products including Conexión, Cancha and 210SA. Previously, Salinas held various marketing and sales positions with The Dallas Morning News, The Oklahoman and former San Antonio Light.   Salinas, a native of Laredo, resides in San Antonio with his wife Sarah.  They have a daughter Alyssa Aucoin who resides in Los Angeles, California with her husband Jared.
