A Chicago labor and employment lawyer was named to the position of commissioner of human resources yesterday.
Homero Tristan, 37, a partner in the law firm of Tristan and Gonzalez since 2002, “is the right person for the job,” Mayor Richard M. Daley said at a press conference announcing the appointment.
Tristan will be in charge of employment and recruiting initiatives, hiring and promotion, labor relations and enhancing the productivity of employees, among other things, Daley says.”*
