Florida schools top the nation in awarding degrees to Hispanics

“Florida International University ranked first in the nation out of 4-year colleges for awarding the most bachelor’s degrees to Hispanic students, according to a survey conducted by Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education.

Colleges and universities in Florida, Texas and California dominated the magazine’s annual top 100 list for awarding degrees to Hispanics. Florida has six public universities and two private universities ranked among the top 50 in the list published in the magazine’s May issue.”*
