On October 17th, the Boston Business Journal and El Planeta will publish “20 on the Move: Hispanic executives making a difference in Boston,” a special editorial section that will run in both newspapers.
“We need the input of the city’s business community to identify 20 Hispanic executives that make a clear impact in the business arena”, said Javier Marín, publisher of El Planeta, the leading regional Hispanic newspaper. “These executives from area-based corporations also need to possess a distinctive leadership among their colleagues and in the community.”

“The region’s hispanic community is an important part of the success of our local economy and we look forward to recognizing the leaders who standout for their professional success and their role in the growing strength of the hispanic community in Greater Boston” said Michael Olivieri, publisher of the Boston Business Journal.
A panel of judges from the Boston Business Journal, El Planeta, the Latino Professional Network, and the Hispanic business community will review the nominations. The panel will assess the nominees’ influence in the business community and their efforts to improve the civic life of the region.
The deadline for nominations is July 25. An event to recognize the “20 on the Move” honorees will be held on October 17th.”*
