New Mexico ranks fourth for most Hispanic-owned firms

Twenty-five firms from New Mexico have been ranked among Hispanic Business magazine’s annual list of the 500 largest U.S. Hispanic-owned companies. The Land of Enchantment’s company total placed it fourth, after Florida (which had 124 firms listed), California (101) and Texas (77). The HB 500 appears in the June 2008 publication.

Combining the revenues of all of the New Mexico firms, the magazine reported a total of $558.31 million for them. Florida, whose Brightstar Corp. in Miami led the pack at No. 1, had a combined company revenue total of $12.807 billion.”*
