Ad Agency OLE Taps Ricardo Trejo as Creative Director

OLE, the New York-based advertising agency focused on the U.S. Hispanic market, today announced that Ricardo Trejo has taken the helm as Creative Director for the New York and Mexico operations. Trejo has been consulting with OLE’s Mexico City office since November 2007 and now takes the full leadership role for both offices. He will be based in New York.

Trejo has a long history of creating, managing and developing creative teams for major agencies on both sides of the border. He joins OLE to support a surge in demand of high-quality creative resulting from increased investments in 2008 from most of the client roster.

OLE’s Creative team has been led by well-recognized Creative heads, having been co-founded in 2003 by Paco Olavarrieta, now of Adrenalina; followed by Charly Tornell, now at Y&R Miami. Trejo joins OLE from a sabbatical after leaving GlobalHue’s New York office. These leaders have brought the agency not only client success, but also a steady string of creative awards; most recently as a finalist in the London International Awards.”*
