Hispanic Futures Conference
“Leadership and Change”

“Leadership and Change” is the theme for the final Hispanic Futures Conference series.  The session will be held on the Austin Community College Eastview Campus at 3101 Webberville Road, on May 31, starting at 9:00 a.m. and concluding at 1:00 p.m.  The overall college readiness series has been based on the changing and workforce changes expected in Texas by the year 2015.

The fourth conference, “Leadership and Change,” continues the theme of addressing new U.S. Department of Labor career clusters, and adds the elements of ethics and professionalism.

Keynote speaker will be Adrianna Cruz; Vice President for Global Recruitment for the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, and the Featured Speaker will be Jeanette Morales, Program Manager for the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities. A panel of successful entrepreneurs will also explore the changing workplace and the preparations that must be taken now to prepare for tomorrow: Mañana is Today.

Students from all Austin high schools and middle schools, and their , are invited to attend the conference and experience the infinite possibilities and the infinite combination that the students will face in Texas by 2015.

A light breakfast and lunch will be provided starting at 8:30 a.m.
