“The Mexican star of an immigrant drama presented at Cannes got a hard time from disbelieving French airport police after he truthfully told them he was an electrician invited to the glitzy festival, police said Thursday.

“Los Bastardos” star Ruben Sosa, an electrician with no acting experience who was spotted by the film’s director and invited to play a lead role, was body-searched and only managed to get out of Nice airport on Monday when he said he had a chauffeur-driven car waiting for him.”*
