Organizers of a new Hispanic Parents Association are looking for community support as they work to improve communications between the Hazleton Area School District and non-English-speaking families.
The association is inviting the public to attend a forum it will hold next Sunday at Faith United Church of Christ to discuss ways that it could promote and improve educational programs as well as employment, entertainment, sports, housing and health-care opportunities.”*
