On March 6th , one of Latin Music’s most respected rock & pop singer-songwriters took to the stage before an intimate audience in Mexico City for the recording of MTV Latin’s special 20thunplugged’ production and delivered an evening of acoustic musical magic that captivated all in attendance and created fast anticipation for its public unveiling.  With entrancing arrangements and an eclectic array of backing instrumentation such as tuba, xylophone, clarinet and a string quartet added to the her own virtuosity with a guitar, accordion and piano, Grammy winner Julieta Venegas shared four new compositions and a collection of her already beloved biggest hits in a session that is an instant essential addition to her music catalog. With her résumé already boasting collaborations with many of Latin music’s most venerated musicians; it was no surprise that Venegas’ performance was elevated even further by a stellar supporting cast that included double-Oscar winner Gustavo Santaolalla, and a gathering of fellow female trailblazers such as renowned Brazilian vocalist Marisa Monte, explosive urban artist La Mala Rodriguez and the multi-instrumental contribution of Natalia Lafourcade.
