Wilmer Valderrama Coming To Jamestown, New York - for the 2008 Lucy-Desi Days Memorial Day Weekend Festival

Wilder Valderrama is looking forward to spending the weekend in Jamestown, saying that the experience will be a refreshing one for him.

A star of television’s ‘‘That ‘70s Show,’’ Valderrama will headline the 2008 Lucy-Desi Days Memorial Day Weekend Festival with an 8 p.m. performance at the Reg Lenna Civic Center on Saturday.

Entitled ‘‘A Tribute To Desi Arnaz: An Evening With Wilmer Valderrama,’’ the Saturday night event will feature a showing of rarely seen film clips from throughout Arnaz’s career. The evening will be a salute to Arnaz, with Valderrama explaining how Arnaz inspired him personally and paved the way for other Hispanic actors in America. Arnaz, who died in 1986, was Cuban-American.”*
