“Bilingual business startup workshops by the San Joaquin County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce gave them that guidance.

With the growing number of Latino-owned businesses nationwide, the chamber sought to increase local Latino entrepreneurs’ chances for success with education, said Mark Martinez, chief executive officer of the chamber.

“Our workshops don’t guarantee success, but it outlines a proper plan on starting a business,” Martinez said.”*
