“U.S. Sen. Robert Menendez joined medical experts in espousing the benefits of “personalized medicine” during a visit Monday to the Coriell Institute for Medical Research in Camden.

Menendez, D-N.J., encouraged minority populations especially the Hispanic community to participate in a study being conducted by Coriell that aims to improve healthcare by using an individual’s DNA to create a tailored medical treatment plan.”*
