“Does the Southland need another regional chamber of commerce?

Two Hispanic business owners think so, and they hope there are others who could benefit from a chamber tailored to meet the needs of businesspeople who, in the words of one of the organizers, “sometimes feel alone.”

Aside from a language barrier, there is a cultural barrier that makes Hispanic entrepreneurs reluctant to join established business groups whose members are predominately Anglo, said Raul Zarco, owner of Forever Photos.”*
