“The critically-acclaimed telenovela ACAPULCO, CUERPO Y ALMA comes to DVD on May 20th through the distribution partnership of Xenon Pictures, Televisa Home Entertainment and Lionsgate Home Entertainment.

This is the first telenovela to be filmed entirely on location in the striking city of Acapulco, showcasing in each scene the majestic beauty of this famed seaport. ACAPULCO, CUERPO Y ALMA stars the stunning Patricia Manterola (”Apuesta por un Amor”), who has achieved great success, both in her native Mexico and in the U.S., and Emmy-winner Saul Lisazo (”El Derecho de Nacer”), along with a magnificent cast that includes Guillermo Garcia Cantu (”Rosalinda”), Chantal Andere (”Amor Real”), Karla Alvarez (”Inocente de Ti”), Elsa Aguirre (Giant), Cecilia Gabriela (”La Madrastra”), Patricia Navidad (”Marimar”), Sofia Vergara (”Dirty Sexy Money”), and a very young Aracely Arambula (”Sonadoras”) making her second appearance in a telenovela.

The creative team behind ACAPULCO, CUERPO Y ALMA includes such acclaimed veterans as writer Eric Vonn (”Valentina”, “Tierra de Pasiones”) and directors Fernando Chacon (”Los Ricos Tambien Lloran”, “Tres Veces Sofia”) and Juan Carlos Munoz (”Rebelde”, “Clase 406″).

The single-disc, Spanish-language DVD set contains English subtitles, has a running time of more than 6 hours and the amazingly low SRP of $14.98. ACAPULCO, CUERPO Y ALMA will be available at all major retail and online stores. (High resolution cover attached).
