This is the first to be filmed entirely on location in the striking city of Acapulco, showcasing in each scene the majestic beauty of this famed seaport. ACAPULCO, CUERPO Y ALMA stars the stunning (”Apuesta por un Amor”), who has achieved great success, both in her native and in the U.S., and Emmy-winner Saul Lisazo (”El Derecho de Nacer”), along with a magnificent cast that includes Guillermo Garcia Cantu (”Rosalinda”), Chantal Andere (”Amor Real”), Karla Alvarez (”Inocente de Ti”), Elsa Aguirre (Giant), Cecilia Gabriela (”La Madrastra”), Patricia Navidad (”Marimar”), (”Dirty Sexy Money”), and a very young Aracely Arambula (”Sonadoras”) making her second appearance in a .

The creative team behind ACAPULCO, CUERPO Y ALMA includes such acclaimed veterans as writer Eric Vonn (”Valentina”, “Tierra de Pasiones”) and directors Fernando Chacon (”Los Ricos Tambien Lloran”, “Tres Veces Sofia”) and Juan Carlos Munoz (”Rebelde”, “Clase 406″).

SYNOPSIS:

David Montalvo is a successful Acapulco businessman and his father’s only heir. This has aroused the envy of his half-brother, Marcelo de Maris. Assuming David’s identity, Marcelo marries Lorena, a beautiful woman from Zihuatanejo, and arranges for David to die in a helicopter crash, after which Lorena will inherit his fortune. Marcelo then intends to marry the rich widow under his real name. But David not only survives the crash, he meets and falls in love with Lorena, unleashing a vicious rivalry between the two men — for money, for power, and for Lorena’s heart.
