Theresa Alvillar-Speake, director of the office of Minority Economic Impact and Diversity at the U.S. Department of Energy, will be in Pasco next week.
Alvillar-Speake, the first Hispanic to head the office, was appointed by President George Bush in 2001 to provide guidance to the department on the impact of energy policies on programs for minorities, particularly small businesses.”*
