In the sun-drenched Conservatory of the Madison Hotel, Morris County Hispanic American Chamber of Commerce members, their families and friends gathered last week for the 2008 Annual Awards Luncheon.
Among the honorees was Raul Silva, owner of Raul’s Empanadas in Morristown. After thanking his wife, Nadia, for “being with me throughout this amazing journey,” Silva credited his brother, David Silva, who also serves as his pastor, for guiding him and giving him the courage to pursue his dream.
But Raul’s not done dreaming. His future plans include franchising his business and possibly marketing some of his homemade sauces.”*
