“Springing from the stage at Norwalk High School to a Tony nomination yesterday for his role in the Broadway musical, “In the Heights,” Robin DeJesus said “I’m on Cloud Nine.”

DeJesus, 23, cinched one of 13 Tony nominations doled out to “In the Heights,” a musical with a salsa and hip-hop score that caught critics’ attention for portraying the Latino community of Washington Heights in Manhattan in a positive light. The musical earned more nominations than any other play.”*
