“Here! Films has taken North American distribution rights to Puerto Rican gay comedy “Manuela & Manuel” from Spanish sales consortium Latido Films.

Produced by Isla Films and Caleidoscopio Film Production, pic tells a story of hidden identities, in which a gay man becomes the fiance of a pregnant friend to help her confront her conservative family.

“Manuela & Manuel” is directed by Puerto Rico’s Raul Marchand. Mexican actor Humberto Busto (”Amores perros”) stars.”*
