The highly awaited presentation of Luis Miguel’s latest CD, Cómplices, took place on Tuesday night at the Casino Español in Mexico City. The event began on time– at 3:00 p.m. sharp –when over 300 fans gathered in front of the casino to welcome their idol. Over 100 security guards watched over the venue where the singer was scheduled to make his appearance at 6:30 p.m. “Not even the President has such a big following,” a businessman from México City stated. The frenzy was justified. After all, this was the singer’s first public appearance in his native México in almost two years.”*
