“Triumphant horns and singing violins competed with school bells and intercom announcements Wednesday in Bryant-Webster school as the group prepared for its biggest performance ever.

The all- group, Juvenil, will perform two songs tonight with the Colorado Symphony at Boettcher Hall in a free concert to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.

“I’m excited, but I’m nervous,” said Elizabeth Nuñez, a 13-year-old seventh-grader who plays violin. “I just hope it comes out all right.”"*
