“More than 30 people — including five representatives from the Singing River Hospital System — gathered at Beau Rivage Hotel and Casino in Biloxi for the Gulf Coast Roundtable “Latinos in Mississippi and HIV/AIDS” conference Tuesday.

The all-day conference was part of the Washington, D.C.- based Latino Commission on AIDS Deep South Project. The conference brings together health care and outreach workers, service providers, government officials and pastors to “put out on the table” the problems facing Latino communities in seven southern states, said Tim Frasca, coordinator of the commission.”*
