Churchill Downs(R) Appoints Tequila Herradura(R) as the Official Tequila of the 2008 Kentucky Derby(R)

Churchill Downs has selected Tequila Herradura as the “Official Tequila for Kentucky Derby(R) 134″, becoming the first tequila maker to carry this prestigious honor.

Herradura, which translates to horseshoe in Spanish, will join other official Brown-Forman brands to the starting gates for Kentucky Derby 134 and Churchill Downs’ Derby-related events, including Woodford Reserve(R) Bourbon, Early Times(R) Mint Julep, Finlandia(R) Vodka, Korbel(R) California Champagne and Fetzer(R) Wines.
