RNHA Chairman Danny Vargas recently participated on a panel discussion regarding Hispanics in national politics at Harvard University . The panel was part of the 11th annual Harvard Latino Law, Business, and Policy Conference. As the only person on the five person panel representing a Republican and conservative viewpoint, Mr. Vargas stressed the fact that Hispanics are more conservative than liberal and in fact have many values in common with the core principles of Republicanism. He also discussed the impact and importance of the Hispanic vote on the 2008 election and in the future. A video of Chairman Vargas’ comments can be seen on following link: www.youtube.com/rnhanational.On a separate note, Mr. Vargas will also appear on CNN en Español tonight (April 22, 2008) to discuss the results of the Pennsylvania Democratic primaries as they come in. He will provide analysis on the Democratic candidates and how they stand up to the presumptive Republican nominee Senator John McCain. The Democratic candidates continue to point out each others flaws and weaknesses and this will continue to help the Republicans as we move into the general election.
