El Nuevo Herald columnist Daniel Shoer Roth was honored by the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation at its annual media awards ceremony held Saturday night at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino near Hollywood.
The South Florida GLAAD awards focused on Hispanic and Spanish-language media. Shoer was recognized for his work at El Nuevo Herald, owned by the parent company of The Miami Herald. Shoer was traveling and unable to attend.”*
