“Latino community builder Erick Arguello has been picked by the general membership of the San Francisco LGBT Pride Celebration Committee Inc. to be an individual grand marshal for the 38th annual LGBT Pride celebration.

Arguello, 48, moved to San Francisco from Nicaragua in 1963. Now, he’s the volunteer coordinator for AGUILAS, a San Francisco agency that helps gay and bisexual Latinos on issues ranging from HIV to political asylum. Arguello, who’s HIV-positive, became a client of the group 12 years ago.”*
