Hispanics Get Telecom’s Attention
The study, “U.S. Hispanic Use of Telecommunication Services 2008-2012,” looks at the buying habits—and telecommunications usage—among Hispanics for wired, wired calling card, cellular and pre-paid cellular services.
The study’s findings include: 65.5 percent of Hispanics have cell phones; Hispanics’ average monthly household spending on cell phone service is more than 80 percent higher than the average household spending on wired services; and the U.S. Hispanic market is broken into many different markets.”*
