The Second Annual Tippecanoe Latino Festival will celebrate Hispanic and Latino culture on Saturday, April 19, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Activities will take place on the campus of Ivy Tech Community College at 3101 S. Creasy Lane, Lafayette, Indiana. The festival is co-sponsored by Ivy Tech Community College and Girl Scouts of Central Indiana.
The festival provides a unique opportunity to share Hispanic and Latino culture with the community and celebrate diversity in Lafayette. Festival goers can listen to authentic Puerto Rican music performed by La Banda, DJ services provided by Rafael Figueroa, and the sweet sounds of Clave Caribe.”*
