Friday’s Brush museum Sack Lunch Program will feature Gabriel and Jody Lopez, authors of the book “White Gold Laborers.”

According to Gabriel, the title of the book refers to the laborers who worked in the sugar beet fields of Western Sugar Cooperative to create “white gold,” or sugar.”*
