Knowledge is Power!
It’s the noon hour Tuesday and Ruby Chavez and Johanna Rodriguez are famished. It’s been 24 hours since they ate their last meals for most of the week: Chavez chowed down on a Chipotle burrito and Rodriguez feasted on Chinese.
Rodriguez feels a headache coming on. Chavez groans when she hears talk of a milkshake.
“Oh man, I’m starving,” Chavez, a sophomore studying psychology, says. “They’re talking about food in there.”"*
