“New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson came under fire this weekend over his endorsement of Barack Obama for president.

A number of people criticized his decision on Sunday morning talk shows, including Democratic political strategist James Carville, who worked with Richardson in the administration of former President Bill Clinton. Carville compared Richardson’s actions to Judas betraying Jesus.

Richardson has a long history of ties to the Clintons. He worked as Energy Secretary and as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations during the Clinton administration.”*
