Yahoo! Telemundo today launched the official site of the 2008 Billboard Latin Music Awards presented by Heineken. Available at www.yahootelemundo.com/premiosbillboard, the site provides music fans with front-and-center access to this year’s event, including photos, news, polls, fan community areas, exclusive videos and artist interviews. In addition, fans will be given the opportunity to recognize their favorite Latin artist by voting for the winner of the “Premio Tu Mundo” (Your World Award), which will be announced during the show. And this year, for the first time, yahootelemundo.com will offer a LIVE webcast of red carpet arrivals.

“Premio Tu Mundo” is a new award voted on by fans online. The first voting phase begins today with visitors selecting the Top 25 from a gallery of all finalists. The final phase, which will run from March 25 at 12PM ET until April 10 at 7PM ET, will allow visitors to choose their favorite artist from the Top 25.
