A Birmingham man received a five-year prison term today for his role in a string of robberies that targeted Hispanics, including one in which a man was killed.
Gregory Bester received a lighter sentence than his three co-defendants because he provided the information that led them to plead guilty, said Allen Goodwine, the prosecutor in the case.”*
