Viva Vision, the leading content provider for mobile entertainment, today announced a partnership with Univision Móvil, which offers the industry’s most comprehensive Spanish-language suite of mobile offerings, including in-show wireless integrations, mobile video, WAP portals, PSMS programs and downloadable content catalog. Together, the companies will develop new mobile entertainment products for consumers in the U.S.
Viva Vision has developed an entertainment slideshow application that displays popular images from Univision’s extensive content library to wireless handsets across the country. Viva Vision’s proprietary platform allows subscribers to pause, rewind, fast-forward, and save favorite images from the slideshow. The subscriber community also controls which content is featured by voting on its favorite images.
“Viva Vision is thrilled to be working with Univision,” said Viva Vision President, Nick Montes. “We look forward to developing unique mobile entertainment solutions that feature Univision content.”
“We are continuously searching for new and innovative ways to deliver mobile content to our growing audience. Viva Vision’s platform has a proven track record in mobile entertainment, and is the solution we were looking for in delivering this content,” said Christopher Brunner, Vice President of Mobile Content & Services, Univision Online.
Viva Vision has a suite of patented mobile entertainment products that includes slideshow, video on demand, and live video applications. The Univision Móvil slide-show product is currently available on Verizon Wireless, Alltel Wireless, Metro PCS, Claro Puerto Rico, and Centennial Puerto Rico, with new carriers to be announced soon.”*
