“Richard Villasana, known as The Guru, has been invited to speak once again about the One , One San Diego campaign during “ Night” at the 2008 San Diego Latino on Tuesday, March 11.

Villasana will talk about Greg Mortenson’s “Three Cups of Tea”, this year’s One , One San Diego campaign reading selection. The campaign, initiated by Mayor Jerry Sanders, is aimed at giving San Diegans a means to connect with each other through a common topic of interest. This year’s selection, “Three Cups of Tea”, is an award winning that highlights how one person can truly make a difference and impact the lives of thousands even in the most dangerous places in the world.

Villasana, an international speaker, writer and president of The Guru, has been a friend of the San Diego Public for many years.
