Louisville Metro Police are taking their message to the airwaves to bridge the gap with the Latino community.
A new radio show is allowing police to communicate with thousands of Spanish-speaking residents.
On La Caliente Radio’s new show, Spanish and English speaking listeners are on equal ground.
“We’re giving you safety tips, offering resources to the community, to the Latino community, and anyone can listen to it because it’s bilingual,” said Metro Police Officer Minerva Virola.”*
