The original series premiering in March and fittingly entitled, “Voces de Cambio”, will introduce Discovery en Espanol viewers to numerous ordinary Hispanics who recount their tales of triumph against adversity, in addition to focusing on how some of our most famous Latino celebrities, through their personal involvement and charities, are effecting lasting change in thousands upon thousands of Hispanics around the country.

First two episodes air March 2008:

Voces de Cambio – Part 1 – Sunday, March 16 at 10:00 PM EDT

The voices that viewers will hear throughout these moving documentaries center not only on the artists and their deep-seated commitment, but also on the individuals who have persevered as they recount their personal life stories and tell us how their lives today are also impacting their families and communities.

“The selection of and Carlos Santana, was not exclusively based on their claim to fame. The common thread of the celebrities selected for these specials, rests on their remarkable personal involvement, their understanding of the impact each of us can have on our society and their capacity to inspire others to effect change,” said Sol Colom, Executive Producer, Discovery Networks U.S. Hispanic Group.

Discovery en Espanol’s Voces de Cambio is meant to be a refreshing take on life’s challenges surmounted – a series of documentaries that will lift the spirit and move many to introspection, if not action.
