You may not have heard of Los Acosta, especially if your musical tastes skew more towards KNDD-FM (The End, 107.7) than, say, regional Mexican station KDDS-FM (El Gran D, 99.3).
But the Mexican band is among the main attractions performing tonight at the Tacoma Dome as part of Festival Musical. And given the popularity of some of the bands on the bill within their respective genres – also Alegres de la Sierra, Banda Jerez, Los Telez and Brazeros Musical de Durango – you could say tonight’s event is the Mexican pop equivalent of the Family Values Tour.”*
