More Cubs games on Comcast SportsNet … and Spanish radio?

“Kenney also addressed the possibility of having Spanish-radio broadcasts of Cubs games, which would seem to be an idea that’s long overdue. The White Sox carry a slate of Spanish-language games on WRTO-AM 1200.

“We’re working with a Spanish baseball network and Univision to try and get launched here — probably by the All-Star Game — a schedule of games in Spanish, which is something we’ve been wanting to do,” Kenney said. “Again, does it impact WGN-AM? Does it hurt their ratings? Probably not. I think there’s a good argument you could make that if our Hispanic audience wants to listen to the games in their native tongue, they’re not going to listen to them in English.”"*
