Hispanic activists upset over the loss of a Spanish-language station from standard cable subscriptions filed complaints Tuesday against Bright House Networks, seeking to get the channel back and monetary damages from the cable provider.
The battle stems from the Feb. 1 move by Bright House to change WTMO — the Orlando affiliate of the Telemundo network — from analog to digital. This resulted in the channel being dropped from the standard subscription package, making it necessary to have a digital tuner or cable box to get the channel.
